I'm still doing research, but I figured while I'm at it, it wouldn't hurt to ask the experts 
I'm looking to play a German impression. I'm sure specific units will vary from game to game, but I would like to know which units I should look into. I own an MP40, and would like to use it, but I'd also like to use a long rifle, perhaps a Kar98k. I also plan on getting a Tanaka GBB Luger eventually. What unit(s) would use these weapons, perhaps together? I would also love to be able to use an STG44 on the field, but I'm not looking to go all AEG all the time; its not period and I get enough of that with modern airsoft every week ;D
I'm also looking to join a unit for WWII reinactments, though to the best of my knowledge there aren't any in my area, and considering the location and popular mindset, I highly doubt there's any Nazi units locally
Anyway, just looking for some suggestions, maybe a nudge in the right direction. As I said I'm still doing research, just want to make sure I'm looking in the right place

, Mostly a bunch of rednecks who think all Germans are Nazis. My grandmother is German, and proudly displayed a German flag licence plate on her car. Every time she drove through town she had people honking at her and giving her the finger until she finally removed it
