This is a semi exclusive game with more stringent uniform requirements than most of our open games. This is not eliteism. This event is simply meant to cater to the more serious WW2 airsofter. Proper uniforms will allow for better immersion into the WW2 period. Age Limit:16 and up FPS Limits:375fps for full auto and semi auto fireing rifles/MED 10ft 550fps for bolt action rifles/MED 100ft Price:25.00 Pre registration only! There will be no day of registrations allowed. 10.00 down upon registration the rest due the day of the event. Registration will open later this week. Schedule:Friday June 5th - Saturday June 6th, 2009 1700 - Camp Opens 1700-2000 Camp set up/check in, Chrono 2000-2200 Social and dinner there are several local eating establishments and I am sure we can get people together around a fire. 2200-2400 Axis and Allies seperated off to seperate camps, Briefings and prep for night portion of game. 2400- Game on till Saturday afternoon no breaks. There will be a set of specific objectives if all objectives are met prematurely we will have open WW2 style skirmishing for the rest of Saturday. Saturday June 6th 1700 Game Over, You may stay and camp till Sunday morning and some of us will probably go see a movie and have dinner. Uniforms:You must have a ww2 reproduction or original uniform Axis or Allied. There are limited Partizan slots available but you must have a good partisan outfit no jeans no members only jackets no t shirts. So if you have a friend that would like to come along go this route but uniform them well please. Camping:Camping overnight is required in semi correct tentage. Allied side may use repro or 80's style pups, vietnam era artic tents or medium GP tents. The Germans because of the high expense of putting together zelt tents may use the same. The Allies and Axis will be camped apart from one another during the game but there will be a Friday night social. We may all go out to dinner together but for the most part during game play you will be away from each other. Goggles On Awareness:Game on will be 12 midnight Friday the 5th until completion of the game Saturday afternoon. Goggles must be on whenever outside an enclosed tent after this. There will be no shooting into or out of tents. Because of the nature of the game there will probably be patrols and guard duty for each camp. Gogs should be full seal anzi rated type. Airborne Operations:There will be a simulated airborne jump for the Allied side involving a vehicle. You will be trained in what you need to do before game on(Yes I was inspired by JTD) Weapons:If you are serious about WW2 airsofting you should already have a WW2 weapon or at least a bolt action rifle or M14. Only WW2 replica weapons, Non SOPMODed M14's or bolt acion rifles are to be used. No M16's AK's or G36's and the like will be allowed. There are plenty of WW2 replicas for both sides at this point so I see no room for discussion on this.

Registration info. We are making it simple for you and me.
Paypal 10.00 to paintgames at hotmail dot com Include this info please in the comments section.
Real Name Screen Name Axis or Allies? What unit(no big deal just Heer, SS, 82nd ect.)
The rest of the fee 15.00 will be due when you show up in cash no checks sorry.
If you don't have paypal then email me at that same address with the same info and we can figure out how to get you registered. Why am I taking a 10.00 pre-reg? To make sure your butt shows up. Now of course don't be silly if you grandmother gets ill or you get herpes or something we will refund your money but your piss poor planning or lack of follow through will not be acceptable reasons for refunding your money guys. If the game cancels and it won't unless there is a God made disaster the day of or the day before. I will provide a refund minus paypal fees to anyone that registers that way. I am hoping I can just refund you and it will not charge me any fees to do it that way.

This game ended up being pretty much a washout. It monsooned on us so bad one of the trucks got stuck up to the frame on the ground. Friday night started with so much rain most everyone abandoned tenting it and moved to hotels in town. Now a little inclement weather is one thing but this was ugh. Also and this is a slight issue I guess once we bug sprayed it up but I have never seen mosquitos this big they were like small birds. I'm from Florida so you have to be impressive to surprise me with the size of your bugs I assure you. Saturday there was a light rain going and we felt it may be ok the rain certainly kept the mosquitos at bay. once we geared up and got scenarios reworked we headed out. Halfway into this first mission The rian stopped and the humidty kicked in so there was now Vietnam game conditions. We decided to pack it up after the first mission was over and everyone that showed up would just get a pass to our Fall game. Everyone seemed good with that solution. Then one of my friends got his truck stuck and 4 wreckers later one of them called a buddy with a real 4x4 and it yanked him out after about an hour of digging and preping. Pictures to follow. All in all this game was an epic fail. I don't feel it was my fault but just a mother nature against us kind of thing. I feel pretty good about the next one being a great game and I hope to see some of the same people there. There were some uniform infedilities here and there but overall the uniforms were great. Almost everyone had the right tunic and headgear some having 90-100% spot on impressions. It was a small game but I knew it would be with uniform restrictions that I had in place. better to have a few with good to great kits then a bunch of kiddies with half assed - no assed kits. We garnered 12 players 6 Allies and 6 Axis players. I hope to build off this in the fall or winter. We will continue to have some close enough uniform restricted games to recruit new WW2 players and also more kit restricitve games to satisfy those of us that are already WW2 addicted.

Unfortunately it's the closest thing the Allies have right now to a mass produced garand. Since WWII is still growing and expanding to other regions of the country at this point, the m14 is definitely a viable option for guys who don't want a thompson. Besides, the standards have to be somewhat lowered so you can attract some regular airsoft players and get them interested in WWII.
CharleyNovember's events are getting better every time, its too bad this one got rained out. Sounds like a lot of your guys had some nice kit.

Yes M14's. When they start mass producing Garands you can complain until then M14's will be allowed. Of course I don't post these to get your personal approval Fusiler. If you don't like it don't show up.
