I'm looking for some y-straps that really don't exceed 65-70 USD. I found some at ima-usa for i think 27 something. Also any help pointing out places with GREAT bargains on Heer belt/buckle canteen/mess tin/kar98 pouches for a person on a strict budget would be GREATLy appreciated@ Danke schön!

You want cheap,you get cheap! A lot of IMA's stuff is junk.They don't specialize in field gear,thats something they just started selling to make a quick buck. You can't beat ebay!

I got a set of web y-straps from Military Tour.I'm not too thrilled with them. The steel is painted a funky gloss black! I also got a smokin Fallschirmjager helmet from them as well.

paint comes off and u can take it off, still good quality and worth the money. hey its better then paying what 90 bucks for grigsby's thin crappy y's that break if u r being dragged

I bought two Y straps for 15 from Hessen but they are Austrian, I am only using them for loaners, I bought a lot of cheaper gear for that reason, I got 3 canteens for 15 dollars, Sportsmans guide yes they are Swedish, but...I got old ammo pouches from ww1 actually early ww2 also for 29 dollars for 12, hunters Lodge. I am going to buy e German bread bags for less than ten bucks each. why should I buy the best stuff for other guys? this is just in case we actually get rekruts. you can still get entrenching tools for 15 dollars, true, they are east Germans, but so what.
