Looks nice, but for that price you could get a real one (or two, depending on the condition)

Yes you are right, they have them for $600. Note the one from WGC is actually set-up for the M60. Thanks, Sir, when making a statement please try to always provide a link so we all can all be better informed and can review the alternate product: www.ohioordnanceworks.com/mounts/tripods.html

Because they are labor intense to build and people are willing to pay it. It seems with so many produced and what I would have thought would be a considerable surplus they would have been cheaper but obviously not.
These do look like quality replicas although with available, less expensive real ones they don't make sense here in the states.
Real ones are quite heavy as you might imagine.

I don't have quite the same detail but mine are functional. From ten feet away does it matter. Working on the endurance. My price is far less if you just want something that looks the part. Works the sameway as those others and awhole lot lighter. This one here is mainly for display and close up inspection. But one that works the same in the field and not as pretty is what I offer.

M5s tripod is impressive indeed. I'll get some pictures posted. I especially like the cradle he makes which is a work of art. I am hoping to suspend a ammo box, mag feed system on it which would make the set up more functional fro a fixed position than most crew served MG set ups.

IMA has the real thing for $350, another source is sportsmansguide. When they sell out where will you go then? Hopefully to me.

Here is a picture of M511a1s tripod and his M1917 MG. It is very cool indeed. Here it is with a M1919A4 on a more conventional tripod.
