I play a Russian, as does Captain Zak. I ordered from www.ostfront.com. They are great. Easy to deal with, and great results. I have an m43 tunic, as well as m43 pants, leg wraps, a helmet, fighting knife, basic belt, canteen, and a gas mask bag.

There is also this site: www.collectrussia.com/I don't know how reliable they are, but they seem to have fairly low priced stuff. I'd say you could get an entire impression for under $150 from them (w/o boots).

no, no, no, you're looking under the wrong category. Check under Soviet reenacting. These are the uniforms I'm talking about: www.collectrussia.com/showcat.htm?cat=reenactor(prices are all over the place, so keep scrolling down, they seem to get a little cheaper the farther down you go)

I like the russians but I decided to do us because in most movies and games the russians are fighting in cities and it would be hard to buy a city to play in

The Russians fought everywhere, but their most memorable battles where in cities, mostly because they took the bulk of the city fighting, that truly made a dent in peoples minds. They took Berlin, alone, and the entire begining of the war for them consisted of fighting in such places as Stalingrad, Leningrad, etc.

Russian's right, Russia has vast country side, and alot of battles took place in the middle of no where. The major battles like Stalingrad and Karkhov that where stalemates where in the cities. But becuase of Stalin's 'scorched earth' policy, there was nothing left to take except land, and when fighting over it, there's no houses to hide in, just open fields.
