Yeah, looks like you guys had a good time and great weather. I like the structures. That adds to a game. Continuous improvement from what I see.

Well I see lots of things from the slide show. Mostly smiles and that is always good. You guys have enough players to make it interesting. Then there are the ad hoc fortifications, sandbags, straw/hay bale coverpiles which indicates the playing field has that fun element. You have adult supervision which is real important and lots of photography. Most important though is actually having the events. You guys will grow both as an organization and as players.

Thanks for the nice comments guys! Yea I am all too lucky to find a WWII Reenactor who owns a field and is willing to let us play on it for free, as well as set up defenses and dig trenches. He told me he will be improving the field as much as he can. The youngest guy there was my little brother who is 8(lol). I was very hesitant to let him play but I gave in. Authenticity is certainly down right now but with winter and Christmas coming on hopefully everyone will be able to get some proper gear and WWII weapons so we will be ready for our next event in the Spring. Authority and team work is something I need to organize better. Mostly each side makes a general plan but after that it often falls apart and everyone does there own thing. I am thinking it would be a good idea to get a Training event going, so we can progress to look something like a real military unit. Oh well I guess I can't expect perfection after only two events. We all had fun none the less, so I am still happy.
