Are knife kills allowed in WWII airsoft? I've played other airsoft and they allowed it but, I found a rubber M3 knife and was wondering if knife kills were allowed. thefieldwerks.com/m3_trench_knife.html

The great answer is that it depends on the game. I have gone to games where knife kills were strictly banned, because they had had past bad experiences with morons and rubber knives I have been at games where knife kills were a simple tap on the shoulder as well as games where throwing the knives were allowed. So overall, you just have to find out from the field supervisor.

Heh heh. I just went to a game with Rob (owner of the site) yesterday. Right now I'm poking myself in the leg with the M1 bayonet and it's not really doing much. He makes them from high impact rubber. You can bend and twist these things all around and they don't break. The knife is simply bending away when it impacts me, so I think Rob's stuff would be ok to use. A hard, plastic type maybe not. Again, check with the field owner/event organizer. Really though, how many times are you going to get close enough for a knife kill? Now a bayonet charge..... nah.
