Hello all! I was wondering, what was the msot common insignia for a medics helmet in the ETO? The two sided insignia? Three sided? four? Thanks!

Last I saw was a 2 sided medic helmet insignia.....but Im no expert.

I see a lot of 4 sided ones, and also I see some front only ones. Your preference, they were hand done, and there were many styles. Choose what you want. On one of mine, I just did a medic cross on the front in red and a white outline. home.att.net/~medichelmet/try there, great resource

I've seen tons do it on the back and front only, and some with all four. Generally, it's by preference.

My helmet has all four crosses. I'm not sure which was most common.

Even square is acceptable as literally everything was done. Sloppily done is okay as it was typically done by the front line medic while back in garrison.
