alright, im sure somebody has asked about this before but i cant find the thread. so here goes.
im new to this and ive decided to put together a soviet impression, so naturally i want to make a Mosin Nagant. I also want to do it as cheap as possible. im buying a springer bolt action rifle from a friend, but ive decided that, since ive got the time and the tools, ill try doing the stock myself. my grandpa already has some significant woodworking experience, but i thought id ask: what is the best way to go about constructing a custom stock?

I'm almost done making mine actually, but its not quite as good as gryphon's. I'm also planning on making my own PU style scope mount, and using the AR15 carry handle scope somehow.
