As our community has grown there are more and more groups throughout the world that host or sponsor the kind of living history events for WW2 and Nam Softing outings we on this forum enjoy.
Here are the ones in the US that come to mind: MOA, Battlesim, War Department, Charley Novembers Group, Black Company and Historical Mil Sim Group. Who else should be listed here? and would it be worthwhile to put links to their sites?
Outside the US there are a couple affiliates in the UK that Gage operates through. There is a wonderful group in Finland and several groups in Spain and Russia as well as a couple groups in France.
I think that most US groups post notices of their pending events here anyway but I'd love to know if there are formal groups out there I haven't heard about.

Well I am trying to revive the Chicagoland interest. I think we have a good site and it's been very well received. The first event which turned out good for only one day with great results. Looking forward to the next one, hopefully at the end of Jan.

I believe 2nd Bat makes a good point about providing a central information thread concerning groups who host events. Events, in my opinion, are the lifeblood of the hobby. While there is information on these boards concerning upcoming events, it isn't really organized in the best way. To that end, not only posting event hosting website information but a general overhaul of the topics on the board would be beneficial. Much greater emphasis should be placed on the event threads and their visibility on these boards. 2nd Bat, our group's website is www.ostfrontairsoft.com Good idea!
