Impressive. Not a lot of details and it is out of stock which is always suspect.

Hum, wonder what the delievery date is...
It's a great looking gun! And it's a great price, hopefully it's a good shooter. I wish there was a bit more info on it.

Has anyone found any other information on this guy? I have searched far all morning on the internet and can't find anything about what gearbox it uses, or anything like that. If anyone has found anything about it I'd like to know what you know.

Even though it is full metal, I think killbucket's guns will sell better, that gun is a little pricey

That's a phenomenal price for an all metal 1919 with tripod and T&E device. There are some people on this board that need to step into the G-2 office and take a few breaths. Price out tripods and T&E mechanisms alone and suck in a dose or reality. Killbucket went out of business selling finished plastic guns and the prices he offered them at inspite of selling a ton of them. That has to tell some of you something? ? Maybe not.... Geeeeezzzzzz. No wonder...no wonder...companies are reluctant to cater to our market!

The full package of 1919 + tripod + T&E mechanism for under $800 is a steal . Real Steel tripods are around what $300? and the T&E can go for around $150 ? Plus this new 1919 is all metal , it's a great looking firearm and at a great price.

As long as they don't crap out and discontinue it 2 weeks after it's released, a la MG34.
It WOULD make a nice tail gun for the technical...

I currently have a 1919 in the shop that I am converting that the owner has a little over 700.00 in including the tripod, the gun body and mechbox and components. That isn't including my time to do the conversion for him. Plus the barrel tip is wrong on his. A minor niggle but still wrong no taper just a flat end. As stated above 800.00 for a oout of the box working steel 1919 is a steal any day of the week.

A fella on CIA pointed out a couple minor visual niggles with the Viva. wrong number of bolts holding the side plates on and something about the cocking handle bar being missing. Very very very minor in my opinion and in case anyone from Viva is reading. Please just produce the damn the things. I'll try and save my pennies and buy one after a BAR.

I am trying to figure out what crap I can sell to buy this... It is a steal for sure. I was about to order a parts kit to start building one when this popped up, there is no way I could have built one for that cheap.

Harry, you can build a cheap 1919a4, I got away with spending under $450 on mine. I used scrap metal for the pintal, tripod, T&E, and right side plate. The only things I paid for were the demilled gun, ammo box, gearbox, and servo. Took a long time to build, but the satifaction of scratch/scrap building a gun is priceless.
I will admit one thing... If a gun is available buy it! If not, build it! If you don't like the way it looks, mod it.

Well biged, As your one of the rare mortals that have the ability to produce these works of art out of 'scrap metal', you should understand that the majority of the rest of us Neanderthal's usually don't have the skill or resources to do the same.... That's why people stare and speak in hushed tones around you at games....they're in awe of you man! As far as the Viva not being accurate, a RS M1919 has 8 rivets holding the side plates together at the rear-bottom, the Viva has 9.....Biggus Dealus to use the Latin ;-) And the CIA chaps, great guys one and all, but did you notice that they also pointed out that the M1919 was already being produced, ....In England....and they even provided two links to Shoot and Scoot, and another individual that was making them in his garage- Although impressive work, the 'handmade' British M1919's are going to be even less correct than the Viva's- So at a little bit more than one of 2ndBat's excellent (and battle tested!) Garand AEG's and still less than one of the Bomber 'Nam era GBB's (that we all secretly want for our 'Nam impressions) you get a full metal, 99.99% accurate M1919 with the Tripod and T&E included[/b]!! It strikes me that we may be getting a wee bit jaded with all of the great replicas and toys our Sino overlords have given us in the recent years that now we are ready to get all 'picky and choosy' about them... I'm just sayin... ;-)

Well this may put me out of business. I was making the M1919A4 and I am still making the M1917 watercooled. From what I am seeing of this one it's not right on the money. Some of it is correct but alot is way off. Maybe that's just sour grapes talking. Mine are cheaper, but not steel. I can't do the T&E parts. Hopefully someone will still be interested in the cheaper version, my custom ones.

I wish someone would put me out of business with the Garands by building an affordable more accurate one. I been wishing for that for six years!!!! I invested in creating a BAR and was in the final stages and down over $1,500.oo on the project. I would have loved to have busted out of the set up before someone came out with the BAR but I'm definitely not complaining. 2010 is going to prove to be a pivotal year for WW2 airsoft weaponry and a turning point for the hobby. Weapons choice was the main thing holding us back. Uniforms and gear have gotten way more affordable, now we finally have some choices for weapons. I suspect even Shoot n Scoot is thrilled to see it as I think he is first and foremost a WW2 airsofter at heart.
Incidently Too tall I'm still proud and dleighted with my M1917 Water cooled.

Especially with a version not otherwise available. The M1917 is signifcantly different as it's the watercooled variant and features a different receiver group, feed tray and tripod cradle appearance which I like alot. I should post pictures of mine as it looks and functions really really well. Anything that provides additional choices is a good thing! the fact that it doesn't weigh as much as the real deal is frankly a good thing in my opinion as well.
