I'm new here as to posting. Been looking at this site for years however. Coming from the WH list (German) a fellow named Marsh lit a fire under a lot of butts and started a WW II airsoft group from re-enactors. He's in PA (I think) and I'm in NC. I use to have a small club here for WW II airsoft several years ago, but locally. With Marshes help we have started a larger one. I have used you guys as a model in my prior group and with this larger one I will continue to build it from here.
What WE have is a large German force of WW II airsofters (re-enactors). I am in the planning stage of forming an event here in NC in May. (Real events are in March and April to include WW1). Airsoft, being a side hobby to re-enacting, I have to coinside dates so they won't conflict.
My question to you fellas; Would you be willing to enguage in an event here in NC? We are very short in Allies.
Authincity is stressed, as it is in any event re-enactors do.
Do you guys allow any other type weapons other than WW II such as M14s?
I am looking at three sites right now, one being private property the other two are airsoft fields. Any money paid will go straight to the property owners..I keep nothing. I'm in this for the fun, not the profit.
Being a retired US Marine I know a thing or two about runing an operation (never had an office for over 20 years in the Corps...that should explain a lot,LOL). I can assure you the event will be intense as well as taxing on your physical ability, no matter the size of the area we work in. Small unit leadership will carry the day.
Please let me know if any of you fellas are interested?
Not sure how this works but here is my e mail;
