It was a great WW2 game I had a blast running it. We had 31 participants and lots of great impressions. Please visit my link for my AAR. It was nice to meet some of the people off this site that came down to the event. I hope everyone had a good time and see you next time.

Thanks everyone for making it a great time! This was the best WWII event that I've been to in quite awhile. Like Dan & Chuck mentioned yesterday, the sportsmanship was the best part and it makes all the difference. On Saturday, I saw example after example on both sides, of teamwork and people having fun.
I can say without a doubt, that the teamwork and communication was outstanding on the Allied side. Our CO, supernube, did a great job of starting us off with the historical reading that really set the mood, and reminded us of the sacrifices that both sides made in fighting for what they believed in. Our leadership was organized and it really made a huge difference out on the field compared to past events where it was pretty much every man for himself. Or small groups of 3 or 4 working independently, with little or no organization. I've never heard as many comments from the Axis players about how good of a job we did. That's also to credit the guys playing the Germans to being a great group of guys as well. I also wanted to give credit to the scout squad. Even though we changed players up a bit, we managed to work well as a group and I think it made us all better players.
This weekend was very inspirational in as far as seeing where future events might be headed. I think we had a great group of guys out this weekend and it was a nice blend of knowing when to be serious, and when to turn it off.
Thanks to Dan, Chuck and the rest of Team Blackjack for organizing the event.
I'm excited about the next event and look forward to seeing everyone again!
....also wanted to thank the group that drove down from the VA area to play. It was great to meet you guys and hopefully I can make it up there some time for one of your events. ...to the partisans as well. They were a nice touch!
