Hi eveyone.
My AGM MP40 is double, even triple feeding at time after doing the full auto only mod. I removed the semi auto cutoff lever and removed the external selector switch, etc...
I dont know if the problem could be a result of removing the cutoff lever, a problem with the anti-reversal latch spring (seems to be working after testing with gearbox assembled) or perhaps i need a bevel gear with more cuts for the anti-reversal latch to catch onto (standard xyt gear has 4 cuts already)...
Ive taken it apart numerous times tonight and im at my wits end here. I'm trying to get it ready for the may 8th game so any suggestions will help. THANKS!!

Check that the nozzle is properly set on the tappet plate.

Yeah I figured out the problem - The anti-reversal latch and spring were binding up in the gearbox resulting in the latch failing to catch on the bevel gear. The real culprit though were the shims I installed <DOH!> I thought adding some shims would increase the surface area the anti-reversal latch connected with the bevel gear (about 1/4 more surface). The result was the anti-reversal binding up and not catching... Oh well, problem solved!
