Hey everyone, I am just dying to get my hands on a bolt action rifle that is spring powered. I would like something other than the dboys k98k. My price range is $200-$300.
Let me know what you have. Thanks, --Jared

You don't need to post in 2 spots. the Impression market forum is perfect for this post!

He says he is no longer making K98's but will instead start making enfields in September. Still his price is in your range.

There are three or four lengthy threads on Springfield conversions from elaborate to fairly simple in the Technical section just follow back a ways. Lots of pictures and step by step. I have made 12 ranging from pretty awful to pretty decent. Hairy apples approach is the most straightforward and produces a nice result.
The challenge is the components for Springfields are fairly expensive so cost in materials alone is typically 300+ dollars plus the time required. The end results are quite nice and using the Bar10 as a base rifle it makes a nice shooter.

Hey thanks for suggesting me guys. As bluecrabofpain said you have to be patient though. I guess thats true for most custom gun buys though. I really try its just hard and ends up taking way longer then I always think it will. Maybe things will change......
