airsoft-news.eu/news.php?item.4163.127mm Liberator Pistol Replica...Lovely but why? ?Why do we need a replica of a junker of a pistol in an airsoft grenade configuration? I could see a 100.00 gas gun replica that shot one shot at a time. Still no M1 Garand though...

That thing is huge , nowhere near as close to the real Liberator.

Yeah Adler that was my thought. That seems pretty big compared to what I thought the Liberator looked like. You can make a fairly good looking lookey loo liberator aout of those cheap .25 gas pistols they sell just about everywhere. I got one out in the garage I should have a go with some time.

I love the liberator, but that thing is ridiculous. Why not make a dumb springer if you are going to make one..

I am guessing they went the 27mm route because CAW already makes the shells for their mini-launchers and Kampfpistoles. It was the easy way out.
Overall though, meh. I have EK's Dragoon, and it is a piece of crap for the price.

Oh yes, please make a replica of the cheapest piece of crap DISPOSABLE gun. And make it look like I made it in my garage out of an old fencepost and some exhaust pipe and coat hanger. That would be sweet.
A MELEE weapon would be more practical for airsoft. I'd bet e-tools killed more guys in war than this joke.
Where the hell's my foam e-tool?!?
Just goes to show you, crack is a worldwide problem...

Where the hell's my foam e-tool?!? actually that is in the works. i do admit this is over the top, i think they were better off scaling this down to fire tanaka shot gun shells. it should be near to scale at that point. elfin knights is a small company, all this complaining about why they wont make this or that. EK is not the one to be coming at with a stick. i would keep an eye on what ares may be doing. ever since tanaka got hurt on the casyopea incident they couldn't do what i was told they were gonna do. it was suppose to be all new rifles in casyopea version so your stuck buying new box mags and shells you can loose. but now they are sticking to the same idea but even crappier since its not casyopea. ares has been putting out A LOT of gim bolt action rifles. with their proclamation last year of dipping into ww2 i would not doubt a second they will make a wood gim bolt action. oddly enough they choose the russians as their first ww2 gun.

In spite of thousands of them being dropped into occupied countries there is no confirmed record of any actually being successfully used . I held an actuall Liberator pistol and it is a cool collectible (every bit as crudley designed and built as you might imagine.) I absolutelky couldn't imagine actually firing it.
Goofy item to decide to replicate even if done well.

I don't see the point of this toy. It appears you have to be within 5' away to even get the bb's to hit... wouldn't be easier just to say "Bang" and throw a handful of bb's?

... wouldn't be easier just to say "Bang" and throw a handful of bb's? Easier, and arguably more effective. ;D

This is the lamest "ww2 gun" to date. If the manufacturer is monitoring these boards perhaps they will wisely save their time and money and cancel the project.
