They would most likely fit in this one as it has a real Military issue stock but the one your getting has a Dboys Kar98 wood stock so I don't think so. It does come with a mock cleaning rod.

As I recall real cleaning rods are too long to fit down them. The airsoft mags get in the way.

O, it was my mistake, yes it is in place. This is an absence of forward ring made me think that there is something unusual, I am sorry.

are you taking consignment orders fro these? If so Im interested in getting in line. email me at tom@sideshowcollectibles.com with details Thanx TG THE REGIMENT Hey Tom you actually placed an order with me and after I finish the two of the three rifles I am working on now I'll take your order. One of them is basically done and will be finished in a few days. The other is like 75% done still needs a bit of work. Yes, its a common problem among custom Kar98s if you look at other peoples. Cutting the sight box out of a Kar98 receiver is challenging and then sanding the bulky thing down so its thin enough to fit on perfectly is really hard. I have not been able to do it perfectly. Another one I am working on I was able to get it a little lower but its still a tad high. On my newest one I will try to fix it once and for all by making my own sight box. Using the one the Dboys kar98 comes with is too hard. O, it was my mistake, yes it is in place. This is an absence of forward ring made me think that there is something unusual, I am sorry. Ah yes understandable. The forward bayonet lug ring thing came attached to the wood stock I bought and it looked really tough to get off and replace with the Dboys one so I just left it on.

Doesn't the leather sling go on the other side of the rifle?

Alright, it should be on the other side, I assume as to not interfere with the bolt.

I used a dremel, a table saw, and a bench grinder. It was very tough to sand it down as much as it is and its still too high. I am going to make the sight box out of sheet plastic on my next one should be way easier.

Thanks 2nd Bat!
PS: I replaced my old pictures with new ones which I think look better. They bring out the nice color better then the old ones. I also put the sling mount on the correct way.

SGT Tom where do you source your BAR10s from. It seems lately they have been hard to come by.
