Having a hard time finding a clear pic of a soldier using the M3 that is clear enough to see how he carries the mags. Can't tell if it's a regular belt with rigger pouches, Garand cartridge belts with spare mag bag, combo of the two, etc. If any one has a pic or a bit of insight, I'd love to hear it. Need to know what to pick up for my kit. I have exhausted Google.

M3 Grease Gun? I think either a GP Bag or a 5 cell ammo pouch.

Yes , it's just like having a Thompson , either the 5 cell mag pouch or the GP bag on an M36 pistol belt. As far as how to carry it , you use the sling , sling goes over your shoulder and the M3 stays level with the ground. Just like this:

I believe i have about 30 maybe from WWII , more from Korea and Vietnam , but just a few from WWII.

5 cell pouch would be too small (they hold 20 round mags, right?). Sounds like a spare ammo bag might be the way to go. Thanks!
