airsoft 1903 sprinfeild

Im worndering if there is a way to make a airsoft 1903 from a airsoft d boys kar 98 if anyone knows tell me step by step

The Dboys Kar98 isn't a good gun on its own and doesn't look much like a springfield at all. Use a BAR-10 as a base rifle then by a springfield stock, handguards, and front sight.

thanks and yea i wasn't so sure about the d boys kar 98 cause i used to have one and it was crap

Okay so I'm confused? You used to have a DBoys Kar 98 and came to realize as most people do that it is crap but you want to know how to convert one over to look like a Springfield? I guess the obvious question is...Why?

The best way in my opinion to arrive at a decent Springfield replica in my opinion is to convert a VSR replica bolt action rifle and there are several step by step tutorials posted on this site. These conversions are time consuming but not especially difficult. I am doing a batch of five of them as we speak.

I'll take pictures as I go but I'm generally following Hairy Apples most recent approach. I have been pleasantly surprised with how dramatically you can alter the VSR stock to look more like a Springfield scant stock

The tough thing is the little bits and parts for Springfields that are needed for the conversion are spendy. Stock bands, hand guards, stock fore end, butt plates, sling hardware, stacking swivel, cut off switch and ready switch front and rear sights as well as the assundry detail items needed to do it right.

It all adds up real quick. I did roughly a dozen Springfields with actual stocks that I dremeled out and used which left me with a whole bunch of plastic take off stocks. Had I known they could be modified so effectively I don't know that I would have gone the full stock route.

I wanted to use the Dboys gas version for the conversion. I see I guy on youtube that said he was gonna do it. Before I new a lot about airsoft I bought one so I got ripped off cause I wasn't part of this assosiaction but if I bought one now I would do that one conversion for the bolt I think it was by hairy apple
