So, I have this M1928 Thompson. I know it's inaccurate, but I got it for the drum mag. Any way, while it works fine with low-caps, (I haven't tried the high-cap stick mag) the drum magazine, no matter how many times I wind it, only fires 3-6 shots before spitting out nothing but air. I've cleaned the gun out, swabbed the barrel and cleaned the gearbox, but nothing works...Any help would be appreciated. I've had the thing for almost a year now.

The problem sounds like it'sis in the drum mag. You will need to take it apart and check that the feed tube is clear and clock spring is set properly. If you are unsure how to do this, take it to an airsmith to fix

Hi cap magazines are wierd like that sometimes. They jam or break. I can't stand them for that reason. Take it apart and there is a good chance it will unwind it's self and work again.

Okay, thanks. Is there an online tutorial for how to do that? I'm afraid I might break the thing or something.
