I know this is not airsoft related but does anybody know where to find an affordable blank firing m1 garand replica? If not a replica a real m1 with an adapter? Would be nice to have the price range 100 to 800 dollars.

Your best bet is an actual Garand with a blank adapter. A gun show is probably your most affordable approach or a used buy from a reenacting group member. Assuming you're not too picky about what you end up with you should be able to manage it toward the upper end of your budget.

I just picked up a serviceable M1 garand that I will be blank adapting soon for 375 bucks. Its rough but it is in perfectly functioning condition. While it isn't WWII dated (Its a 47) it serves its purposed just fine. This was at my local surplus and gun store. Try checking around your local gun stores for beat up garands on the rack. If you see a nice looking one, look but don't touch as it will likely be in the $1000 range.

You can get them from CMP for $500. Replicas are not very common or available. The only ones I have heard of are like some kind of special addition commemorative rifle which cost like $1000. I'd just look for an original. Check out Gun Shows and keep an eye out on Auction Arms and Gun Broker.

The maker or where its coming from I think. CMP requires a whole lot of things for you to be eligible to purchase from them but it is worth it once you can because they ship to your door without an FFL. Otherwise just check your surplus gun stores and etc.

If you are not old enough to buy a real firearm we would prefer you not discuss it on this forum.

Profile says you are 13 can "you" own one or can your dad own it and you can shoot it under supervision?

Yea you have to be 18 to buy a gun I believe, and that counts for long rifles only. It might be 21 though. For reenacting the youngest you can carry a rifle is 17, with adult supervision. Once your old enough you can have your dad purchase it and let you use it.

This is an airsoft forum so please lets leave discussions about real steel firearms to forums and web sites dedicated to such things especially if you are a minor.
