Hi guys,
Im dieing to modify my thompson because ive just been getting bored of the average fire power of the weapon. Im not really worryed about the accuricy of the gun cause it is surprisingly acurate as is. I was just wondering how i could make it fast and stronger. I was thinking a higher power battery, gearbox or moter. I dont want to spend too much money cause im hoping to buy a 5 cell mag pouch or something. I do have 3 of the batteries it came with. so i was thinking of getting something that i could improve that i can maybe still use the same batteries with. but im willing to do watever.
Thank you for who ever will help.

Do you know your way around the inside? If not, take it to the store, get it reshimmed, regreased, rewired, and put in a new motor. A new bucking wouldn't hurt either. You don't need more FPS (what I assume you mean by "stronger"). Accuracy and range can be achieved with a lower FPS. For example, my stock TM M1A1 runs on an 8.4v and delivers pinpoint accuracy, great range even when compared to upgraded CA M4A1s at the local field, and a nice ROF with low stress on the internals.

Batteries will in general only increase rate of fire. There is information on the web out upgrading the Version 6 gear box but if you are not familiar with doing the work have a professional do it.

All right guys thanks a bunch. Do u have any good website sugjestions on where to buy new wires and a motor. I've feild stripped it b4 just from curiosity soo I can replace the motor. Ive taken apart a gearbox and fixed it for another gun but I ran into some trouble getting the thompsons metal gearbox out of the plastic outside with the trigger guard and where the mag locks in and where the stock ataches. (I don't know if it has a real name)
