I purchased a used Cybergun Thompson on eBay, and everything seems perfect, except that the small set screw that goes on the top of the barrel at its connection point is missing. What size screw is it? Where can I get a replacement?

I'd suggest going to a hardware store with the barrel and find a screw that will work. Also you might want to put some tape on the part the barrel connects to so it will be more secure.

I had the same problem I went to the store (With the whole gun in hand) and got screws and epoxied them on.

I would not take the whole gun to a store.

I looked at my TM M1A1 manual and in the parts guide the screw has M3X3 underneath it. Not sure if its the measurement, but I suspect it might be.

I wonder if the Cybergun takes the same size screw as the TM ?

It should. I doubt CYMA would bother to change any sizings. Its supposed to be a clone

an M3 is sometimes hard to find. I have had better luck with small independant ACE hardwares and the like finding odd hardware like this. Big Box stores are applesauce and most of the time when you ask them for something they stare at you like a deer in headlights.
