Hi folks:) First of all please excuse me if this is in the wrong section ... I've owned the D-boys Mauser for a while now , and ive about had it with the plastic stock I was wondering if I could get a real surplus stock and fit it on my gun? I have browsed pictures and they seem very similar .... Thanks for your time !!

Yea it'll work. It might need a little sanding in some spots but very minimal. You should be able to do it easily.

Yea check ebay you should be able to get one on there for under $100. You may also be able to pick one up at a gun show.

There are basically two types of stock and it depends which time period you are doing. Early war would have the flat butt plate and mid to late war would be cupped butt plate.
