I would like to propose the addition of a new section for established units to make themselves known and recruit from.
Possibly a new section w/ East, Mid and West sub sections.
I find the current "Unit Recruiting" section a little scattered. Lots of guys looking for units and "hey, who's out there". But no place for units to say: "We are here. ...and we're located here. We're established doing and doing this. Contact us here."
Thoughts?

From what I've seen, there aren't too many established WW2 AS units. Seems to me,people have a WW2 impression or two and just get together for events. Theres also those of us who come from blank fire.,like myself and Gerry. We do other impressions in blank fire, but we can't seem to get our blank fire comrades to join us in this. You get dribs and drabs, and would like to see more to bring the authenticity standards to a higher level, but, its a hard sell.

Is it 2nd FJ out of NY area?, Gordaks group 501 in NE I think, 2nd rangers in WI, 3PnzGr in MN. That's pretty much as many as I know and they are all up the East Coast and Midwest. I have a 82nd group that has 3-4 members I haven't been keeping up with it like I should have been. I am now giving up the German impression to concentrate on JUST U.S. now. I think it is is an ok idea but less fragmented would be better maybe East MidWest and West 3 sections.

I've done German for so long,I NEED a change by doing GI every so often. I'll be working on the guidelines for GI impressions over on the FB page.

Add to these the units in the Northwest and let's not forget the California units, both U.S. and German that have sprung up. BTW, I do think this is a good idea.

I think for simplicity sake we split it into three sections East Mid and West. Most of the units seem to be on either coast with a smattering in the middle but no biggie either way. If we need a few more sections then ok.
