The first ones are not peices of crap. Like all new AEG's the mag had some teething problems but an easy fix was published.

Likewise a teammember of mine has one of the first ones and he was quite happy with it.

That's just what I heard from all the guys at gunner, I didn't know if it was true or not. Glad to see the mid cap though, I've been waiting on it for a while just to see what it's like.

I would likewise like to state that the Hexagon PPSH didn't strike me as a piece of crap at all. The build quality and performance are quite impressive and the magazine issue is easily addressed. Be careful about statements you make without first hand experience.

Actually I stated the first mags were APPARENTLY peices of crap. I heard it from most everyone at my field so I thought I might put it on the forum.

Your post is easily confused as saying the old guns not mags were crap. By the way do most people at your field have one?

I too thought the original was an excellent airsoft gun. Haven't done anything to it and it works like a champ. Thanks maxim.
10target,
There are two issues from your post. Number one, you are disseminating faulty information based on rumor and number two, you could have put the matter to rest by acknowledging it but instead you choose to get defensive. I see a lot of that on these boards. Really, admitting an error is a lot better than coming across as insecure.

I'm putting this BS to bed now; There are plenty of reviews about this AEG on the web, all good and since I have met and dealt directly with the Gunner boys in person (where I bought my ppsh as a walkin customer) and discussed this AEG with them then and returned many times since did I ever hear from them once that the early models suck. I don't think they would anyways since the producer, Maxim of Hexagon happens to be family. Secondly the only real difference between the first models and the current is the color of the wood, butt plate screws and corrected magazine. I don't think you talked with anyone at Gunner who said such a thing. If you did, PM me his name so I can call him and ask? I have their number programmed on my mobile.

I meant to post "mags," were apperently crap, I had no real knowledge of the gun, just that's what some of the guys in my group said. I wasn't getting defensive, honest. If that's what you thought then I apologize for any hard feelings you may have. Kalbs, I trust you that the gun is good, I just heard that the old mags weren't, sorry for the misconfusion.
