Before I start I want to get this out of the way. I don't play in WWII only games and I don't reenact because neither of them happen anywhere around me. This is why doing a non standard loadout doesn't really matter.
I made a standard US loadout and am now thinking I want to do something a bit more different. But what my question is, what did the North African, Australian, and British soldiers wear? What did they shoot? Where can I find this gear? Any help is much appreciated.

Google is your friend. Try looking for "ww2 british (or australian) reenacting groups" on google and check out their pics and kit lists. Usually a reenacting website will have original pics or links to off site websites about the unit they are portraying. Just pick something and go from there

The Commonwealth Countries: Canada,Australia,South Africa,NZ etc,all wore standard British Battle Dress. The exceptions were the Aussies and NZ' who tended to wear their own headgear. They also all used the standard British weapons as well.

Like I said, research is key. Not all used the exact same Battle Dress. Canadians had a different color and seldom used the 40patt uniform. I am pretty sure Aussies in Burma and the south pacific had different gear than their British comrades in the same theater. Research research research. Look at pics, read books and pose questions to more those with more experience. You'll figure it out eventually.

It depends entirely on theatre, year, division etc etc.
For example Royal Artillary at Dunkirk in 1940 had some guys wearing wwi service dress (as did the new zealanders in the desert) whereas a soldier at Arnhem might be in BD trousers and a denison and a late war infanteer in a full camo suit.
