I got a pair of white mp leggings and a white pistol belt today. I was just wondering if either of those things where ever used in combat? Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, what Bob said. I definately wouldn't recommend that for the field. Which impression are you shooting for?

I just picked them up for two bucks at a flea market so I don't really care one way or the other. Thank you for your help anyway, I was just curious.

Two bucks for both? That isn't bad at all, they'll be nice for the collection.

With a white helmet and white gloves you'd look like a gate guard. Something to consider would be to see if the might take a dye. If so you could end up with a cheap belt and gaiters that would probably look okay. There is a RIT formula for Khaki and while I haven't done it in a while I had good success with it.

But, in doing that, he would also be ruining two pieces of original gear, and creating "fakes," so to speak, of the combat gear all the while. -Shawn

I would keep it as is and use it say if you wanted to do MP at a living history display or just for the sake of appreciating it for its history.
