Use a dremel, a drill, screws, bolts, and some epoxy to turn it into a working vz 24 airsoft gun! Oh and it would take down well, because I would use as little epoxy as possible

I would also purchase the front sight, buttplate, sling, and bayonet

If any of you guys could give me a better idea for an affordable base gun (i'm not gonna get a lot of money for my birthday, probably about 200 bucks) feel free to express it. I just heard the sd700 was better quality than the agm mp001

The TSD 700 is definitely better than the MP001 but will not accept all the Marui upgrade parts like the Bar 10. Not a significant issue as the TSD shoots pretty hard right out of the box. Certainly well enough to skirmish with although as with any bolt action rifle you are definitely at a disadvanate whne facing an AEG

I for one love the feel of a bolt action rifle and like the challenge. You gotta make your shots count. Plan your moves and hit your target in the helmet so he knows he was hit and know you and everyone else knows it as well.

Yours should be a fun project. Keep us posted on your progress.

If you can still get your hands it, go for the JG Bar10. Most reliable so far, not counting the original TM VSR10.

Having used a lot of them for these projects I agree with Jimq on that. The effort for the build is considerable so if you're going to go to the trouble the extra 40.00 or so is well worth it.
