Today, I started my conversion from an M14 to a DP-28. Thank you gryphon for the inspiration. I will get some picutres and the entire sitrep after I get a little higher off the ground with the project.

Keep us posted with some detailed photos of the build. I am interested doing the same thing at some point.

Do you plan to use a p90 hop up unit for a top fed mag?

No, as of right now I dont mind the massive metal box haning out the bottom(Thy M14 mag) because I need a lot of rounds for this monster. I plan to pull a 2nd bat at some point and stuff a smaller shotty mag in the mag holder, but the only set back is at that point It will only have an 18 round magazine. But hey, if I can get like 15 mags to carry around with me things will go just fine  example: 18 x 15 = 270 rounds down range at little kiddies  And yes I will get some pics up tonight of everything I am using and how far I have gotten haha not so much at you pete, at chris and Mr. RuanAfghan ;D |

Ive also started to make a Dp-28. first I had made a BREN gun out of a busted AK-47 Spetsnaz, but I like the look of the DP-28 Better. The magazine is proving to be tricky.
