I wonder though if this could be used as a base for for an SVT40 using M14 internals? The receiver is similar

Talk about a Franken gun. It has attributes from many. A little bit M14 a little bit carbine and a little bit AK. Very strange. I wonder if its full scale? I suspect it is not. At the cheap price if it was reasonably sized I suspect something worthwhile could be done with it.

I recall it looked to scale but very plasticy but not as bad as that $10 double eagle MP40

Oh, that gun was A DISGRACE!!! I purchased it not knowing that it had picatani railing and a red dot on it. I purchased the thing thinking I might be able to do something with it, but oh boy was I wrong...
