well, im thinking of getting a steel mag release (broke on an old WE i had) and steel hammer (both ment for a marui) also, id like to make that weird silver barrel black but dont want spray paint. i may just get a steel barrel but im sure something can be done to the one i have. any words of advice? also i want to make it kick hard. i use propane in it so i think a harder spring will do that? (the parts are on redwolf) any critisims or discouragement will be noted

Gas guns are a pain to work with I would say leave it stock unless you really need to fix it. Also you dont want anymore metal parts or a harder spring on a WE because they are already gas hogs so if you put on more weight to the slide you will probably not be able to get through a whole mag on one gas fill.

I basically play exclusively with gas guns and I'm going to say this: ditch the WE M1911
Its a gas hog because the hammer starts to strike improperly after extended use. The M1911 is considered an older gen WE GBB. Newer iterations like the MEU are better but still mediocre.
Go for the KJW or TM M1911 instead. The KJW is around $100 at good stores and the mags hold 24 BBs instead of 15 for the WE.

and i was turned off by the TM being plastic, but is probably more durable than the pot metal WE's are made of. hmm any slide and fame upgrades?

hmm. scratch that. i have my WE, but its starting to malfuction and jam without being soaked in silicon. im really facny-ing the KJW 1911. how does that sound as a good side arm? hows the finish and overall function of it?

by the way i got bored so i tinkered with my leftover parts from the old broken WE 1911 i had and made full auto parts for my WE. they actually work, but it just proves im getting tired of this gun. it jams on full auto too after you fire 2 mags through it, cause it gets to cold. really want the kjw and have the full auto WE as a novelty item at this point.

one thing though. if i get the green gas version of the kjw m1911, is it still going to have those stupid cut outs in the frame for the Co2 mag?
