I finally have this together! So I thought I would share it with everyone. This is my first conversion using a VZ-24 and a clone VSR-10. When I get the real parts for the receiver I will be working on the safety and related parts. The VZ-24 is a VSR-10 clone shooting at 548FPS with .20's. It has a nine ball bucking, modified hop up arm, aluminum piston, ball bearing spring guide, EDGI steel sears, 6.01 440mm tight bore and some special mods to make it cock like it was almost stock! The Mauser parts came from many places and did not all fit. Some little parts were missing so I made them on my lathe. The copper barrel needed to be lathed on the end to fit the Mauser front sight base. The sight blade had to be hand filed to fit and still be adjustable. The rear sight came on a 3/4" steel tube which needed to be cut off and leveled. My biggest challenge is trying to get the hand guard to lay 100% flat, which I now have close but no cigar. It's been an interesting project so far!

After having done some Mauser conversions myself it is sure hard work. I did one conversion using a stock like this and grinding it down so the parts would fit inside is tiresome. Those original wood stocks are hard. Anyways looks very nice, hope you can get the handguard to fit over the receiver. Sounds like a nice gun with all those upgrades installed. Out of curiosity whats its maximum range?

Range is over 200' and accuracy is very good with .36 bb's.

That looks terrific! Great job. I always liked the VZ 24 and its nice to see a Mauser variant that was actually fairly common. It is a rifle that would lend itself to many impressions right up through the Vietnam war.

Daug,
That impression looks great.
How long have you had your VZ in the field? I would like to know more about that, we are in a tech thread.
I see you have a small gap at the back of your hand guard are you using a VSR inside the VZ? It looks like a VSR, and it looks like you did a mod on the bolt handle?

Thank's sorry for my other pictures.....I use for vz a sa1 bolt cybergun but the internal is very bad (my english too ;D) because I can't upgrade because it's not compatible with vsr10 parts. For the bolt handle it's a RS modified...but my vocabulary is too small for explain. See the pictures

Great job on that bolt!
I am looking for all the RS parts for the bolt to finish the rifle. How did you cut the bolt from the RS?

Great job on that bolt! I am looking for all the RS parts for the bolt to finish the rifle. How did you cut the bolt from the RS? This is not a true K98 or vz bolt handle. I found it in a purse for weapons. It took me to cuts because it was too long. I cut with an disc cutter electrical (I don't know the traduction ). Then I inserted a PVC tube and I redid the locking notch. I hope your understand
