Many thanks for responses. I use "standard" magazines As them to do has learned from a theme ww2aa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=m1garand&action=display&thread=2825But I have such only 3 pieces, it is necessary to alter from magazines for VSR-10, very long employment The most difficult was to hollow from within a neck of a butt, Chisel, knife, drill with a long drill. p.s. I am sorry for bad English, I write by means of the translator google

Once again thanks for responses to 2BAT, I was engaged in this rifle, inspired by your products. Choice Denix from a hopelessness to bring the present wood from М1 and accessories very much great difficulties with customs.

Hi guys! I built my AEG Garand from Denix too but I used the M14's plasic stock with modifications. Belleville could you so kind to take here some pics how do you make your realwood Denix stock? I think the mod on the wood stock was not so easy like it seems. I would like to change it to the real stock but I don't know how can I start this. Thanx for your help. And here are some pictures from my AEG M1 Garand (Denix, but still with plastic stock): PS: And sorry for my english...

Hey csaky, Its just a matter of hollowing out a space for the battery and motor pretty much. You can do it with drills and files. Not to say it is an easy job.

Making a space for battery and motor I can realize. It's ok. Perhaps. But the worst and most difficult job there's built in the another external parts of M14. Example parts around the magazine, locking on the trigger etc.

Lol. OK. I will try it Otherwise we have two same guns. I have Cyma and Denix too. ;D But I can't understand how can you made the replica's trigger is now operable with the m14 mechabox... Leastwise it seems like it is from Denix.

Thanks guys. I think this is the first custom made AEG M1 Garand in Slovakia. Everyone runs with thompsons, sten guns and M14s on the ww2 actions but Garand no one. I hope I will start a new era in the circle of ww2 players. ;D

Thank you. The original color of the Denix's wood was too bright for me so I repainted all wooden parts a bit darker brown. To my mind now this color is better resembles to the real ww2 garands.

OMG , then I congratulate once again. I have mistaken. I have thought that it is original wood from USA. You have creatively approached to process. The good fellow. The creative approach.

So, I made the realwood stock. ;D It was really hard and boring job, but I think the finish is succesful. Belleville said truth, Its must only start it. Thx. ;D Hi there! I'm from Hungary, and we make garand convertion too, but we made it from a natur wood, cut it out, and spending a lot of time to make it good. But your convertion is very good. My friend was made a connection with you on your youtube channel. His name is Csaba Farkas, or Süti. Do you have a face book account? I want to make a connection with you if you allowed it! Your work is very nice. I hope that we will make a good combat in the near future with the other countries' WW2 airsoft reenactors! Best Whises, István

As crazy as this may sound I have a real steel Garand and I just took the gas block/tube, and handgaurds (withs some slight modification to the Cybergun M14.) I can't belive my Garand parts are interchangeable, I took the sights off my Garand and installed them to my airsoft M14! I a awed, pics to come soon.

This is a picture of my real steel Garand that I use the wood and gas tube/block for the M14 conversion, when I play airsoft I takedown my Garand and attach the handgaurds and so on. This is my clarinet instructor, Bill, who was a WWII pacific vet holding my real steel Garand. The funny thing is that he likes airsoft guns, he is currently borrowing my Cybergun Thompson to shoot soda cans, great guy. Attachments:
