Hello Everyone! Well I'm kind of new here and I have only posted a few times, but I read a lot of whats discussed on here and its obvious that you guys are pretty knowledgeable! So I figured that Id ask, whats my best option for a German Helmet for 100$ or less? Color, or type doesn't matter, original or repro don't matter either. Just what are some good sites, companies, etc.. thank you! And if anyone on here is looking to get rid of a helmet, we can always make a deal! Thanks!
Also what is a good place to get m43 caps? Repro originals, dosent matter! Thanks!!

As a starter, go for the M35 repro, the M35 was used throughout ww2 . There are several ebay retailers that are quite good

+1 for Hessens. I had one of their FJ helmets and it was a beaut.

Also what is a good place to get m43 caps? Repro originals, dosent matter! Thanks!! The best place to buy M43 caps depends on your budget. Originals are about $1500. Try www.germanmilitaria.com/Heer/02Caps.htmlGreat repro from GD43 can be up to $100. www.gd43.com/Good repro from SMWholesale or 1944 militaria $60-70. Reasonable repro from Hessen or ATF $50 Crappy chinese repro that will need insignia bought and sewn on, $15 + insignia but will do you fine for airsofting.

IMA sells good things. theyve got cheap and fast shipping, ive ordered some mp40 pouches and slings and a belt there. they are really good quality.

For helmet I'd go with Bayonet inc. IMA is probably ok too though the liner is a piece of junk. For a budget uniform right not ATF's old run, Ant-z(Hessen or eBay) or Gavin Militaria are your best bet. Field gear it really depends what item your talking about and what quality your looking for.

i agree. the liners look bad but who could really mess up a helmet shell. but IMA's equipment is good.
