I just baught a m2 carbine with 2 mags for an amazing price of $150 on craigs list! However i have never used a gas gun before. Is their a certain gas i use for it? I baught green gas for it, but im not sure if its the rite type. Ive read that it use hfc134a, but idk if the green gas i baught is that type. I also watched a review and the guy said u could use propane. Is that safe? if so its hell of a lot cheaper. Lastly i noticed there is too ports on the bottom of the magazine for the gas. Do i have to fill both of them up.

It won't make any difference filling one or the other valves. It just goes to the same tank. Make sure your gun is an export model before you use green gas/propane as well. If it's not, I'd recommend computer duster gas with an adapter that you can find on airsoftatlanta.com . You can tell if it's an export by simply looking down the barrel. If it has a second hopup nub in it, it's not an export and you should use 134a/duster gas only.

I use green gas with mine but have no idea weather my M1 carbine is export or not. It works fine but I also have the weaker green gas (HFC134a) and you will notice if you use both there is a big difference. I wouldn't recomend the HFC22(the kind you probably have) because I don't know if yours in the SI version or not.
And about the barrel loose, I never was able to fix that on mine so I can't help you there.

I fixed my loose barrel, it's really easy. unscrew the barrel band and push it forward, then lift up the top handguard. you'll notice two hex screws sticking straight up that the hanguard was covering. Tighten them. That's it, it will never be loose again. In fear that my bolt might snap, I also ordered a steel bolt for mine (original is aluminum), and I think that will make my gun be good for life, if not, I'll just weld it back together.
I really wouldn't reccomend buying the bolt from the site I did by the way, they have really bad service and have taken forever to get it here (more than a month already and they just shipped it).

I was able to take my gun apart and i fixed the barrel and fire selector switch thingy. However how do i do the hopup? I cant find the right allen wrench to fit in the hop up. Which way do i turn it to turn it down. I just got back from ww2 airsoft event and my shots were all over the place.

Clock-wise is more hopup, counter clock-wise is less hopup. A customary 1/16th allen wrench fits in the allen screw for the hopup.

Agreed. I'm so glad I ignored all the people that said it was bad. I think I made a good investment in this rifle. If they made short magazines that would be even better!
