Hi guys,
Seems my 3 king arms mags have given up the ghost. For some reason, it seems the mag springs have gone bad. They aren't producing enough pressure to push the bb's up the feed tube. Anyone have any remedies? I'll probably need to find some way to get the springs replaced.

How long have you had the mags and have you been taking the bbs out after every game?

had them for a year. yup, been taking out the bb's most of the time. didn't a coupe of times though. after spending most of this afternoon loading and reloading plus adding silicone spray i found out the problem was that the bb's fowled the feed tube and were jamming against each other near the top of the mag. the problem was solved a bit after i loaded the mags with an old straight tube type loader instead of the spring loaded compact type. also reduced the bb load to around 70. problem still not completely solved but a great deal better than before.

I hope on a regular basis you are not spraying silicon into your mags. It just attracts dust and fouls them up.

thanks kalbs! perhaps that's how the fouling started.

I am not a fan of the double stack magazines. It seems as though they are prone to just the problem you are experiencing. The same thing happens to the G&P 55-round VSR-10 mags. I know this isn't a fix suggestion but just a warning to others chasing more mag capacity. Better to carry more mags with single channel feeds IMO.

Yea I'd have to agree, I've had some problems with them too. They seem to work fine if you don't load them to full capacity though. King Arms mags have an irresistible price .

Sorry about necro-post, but has anyone ever taken one of these apart? How'd you do it?
