Great weapon! Anyone know where to find one? Everyone appears to be out of stock with no insight as to when it will be back in. If it were made in Japan I could understand given the circumstances of recent weeks, but I believe these are produced in Taiwan. Thanks!

the only place i knew of that carried it in the states was ontargetairsoft.com, but they ran out of stock a long time ago. If you havent done so already, you could search the overseas vendors or watch the forums and get one second-hand.

What problems did you have? I have heard the SRC was the best MP40 on the market.

That maybe but think of it this way, It may be the best model of the gun, but not the best gun... example: the Tokyo Marui Uzi is the best aeg Uzi on the market, but it is not a very great gun... I dont know if it was my gun or the model, but I just had a bad expierience

I've heard it was best in performance, looks, and build quality. What problems did you have with it?

Looks definetly great and externals were flawless, but My gears kept on stripping and it was a very bad experience

Gears stripping? Thats really hard to do. Usually the piston will strip but not gears. Can you be more specific about what gear/s? Sometimes a low motor height setting can strip a bevel gear over time or pop a pinion tooth or I've seen the selector pop teeth from a hard piston but never seen a stripped gear/s.

With experience you will eventually be able to hear the problem when you first fire any AEG. I would assume this issue to have been a rare encounter with the SRC MP40. SRC as a standard installs hard steel gear sets of which I have never encountered an inproperly shimmed set to date. i would chaulk this one up to just plain bad luck.

yeah ive had problems with mine as well, a few bushings broke so i replaced them and it still sucked so disabled the blowback feature and it works okay i plan to upgrade the internals and only other complaint is the mags wobble and dont feed do to wobble. simple fix-tape
