Just for help for enfield makers This time I was not able to find casting workshop so I made it this way- metal platform secured to forward stock by two screws and bolt with nut and locktight to attach buttstock Then steel band over connection with epoxy inside Receiver, take out some metal from sides and attach metal plates by small bolts

This is especially impressive seeing the new offering from KJW for $1500.00!

I can only surmise that their intended market is Japan, where real firearms are tightly restricted so that collectors and hobbyists are willing to pay premium prices for good replicas.

That is indeed the case and because of those restrictions and the Japanese onsession with weapons the replica market and airsoft world came about. Without these conditions the hobby probably never would have come about.
Also in terms of costs ROMA you'll have to admit that if you were considering going into the custom build business you'd need to sell your creations for a pretty chunk of change in order for the time and effort to make it worthwhile.
They are absolutely things of beauty. You do a tremendous job on them.

But more or less big workshops have possibility to reduce labour coefficient (time, efforts, materials, technology) and so the price, according to intended market. If they aimed on Japan collectors I can only sympathize to UK army reenactors.

Amazing job! This is one of the nicest custom weapons I've seen. Thanks sgttom! One of my goals was to learn is it possible to do with ordinary means at home by everyone. And yes, it is possible.

With hard work, patience, and some skill I think almost anything is possible. Most people just don't want to put fourth the effort, which I understand. I am not saying anyone could make weapons as nice as yours turned out though.

I have made a little improvement in this Enfield. Welder made another connection ring for me (according to wax model) and I drilled a hole through the ring from top all the way down and made a thread in it. Then connected receiver and ring with bolt. And now receiver and ring are durable like one piece part and wood can be connected like on original Enfield.

How do you fit the bolt and trigger system into the original pieces?

Receiver and bolt are custom made from VSR-10 using original parts.
