I am thinking of doing a conversion where I would take a new Marushin M1 Carbine(6mm), take off the wood stock and drop the receiver, barrel, and trigger assembly into a paratrooper(folding) stock with hand guard. Has anyone tried this? Except the gun would still have the long magazine, but I can deal with that(it would be more practical when playing against modern players).

You will probably need a dremel as I dont think they would fit perfectly.
