You dont look too bad, the suit looks very faded and for 101st you should lose the arm flag.

The arm flag is sewed in to the uniform, and also yeah the uniform is kind of faded because of it being washed alot. Also, the lighting could have something to do with it.

How do you think we rebadge tunics for events Stitch unpicker will cost you about a dollar and have the stitching holding it on the sleeve off in a minute. www.mcnabsaddlers.co.uk/store/images/GRPLO.jpgI think my battledress has had about eight different full sets of insignia on it in the last ten years, my german kits been rebadged at least twice. You dont even need a stitch unpicker if you're *careful* you can run a stanlyknife/exactoknife/razor along the stitches where they join the fabric. Like Poacher says, the 101st didnt wear arm flags during the period the M42 jump suit was worn. I think the 82nd did though if youre worried about aking the flag off. One problem you *might* have is that if your uniform is fairly sun bleached then you'll have a much darker patch of fabric under the flag so you might be better off changing division. 82nd is cooler anyway... everyone and there dog does 506 101 (in fact there are probably more 101st re-enactors than original members of the division)
