You did a great job!! Is it C02 powered, or did you hook it up to an air tank?

Awesome job! If you make a few more you could make a field artillery division. Or better yet, try and make some allied artillery pieces and make airsoft just that much more awesome.

You're gonna get some crazy looks hauling that to the game. ;D I would have to agree considering the looks I got just from wheeling it down my street to the park to test it out. ;D Thank you! Awesome job! If you make a few more you could make a field artillery division. Or better yet, try and make some allied artillery pieces and make airsoft just that much more awesome. Thanks man! Yeah, that would be pretty cool to have a few of these and some allied pieces on each side for sure. You never know... there may come a day! Until then though... I think I already have some other projects in mind for down the road. Also an update. Just got done with final testing. Farthest round traveled 316ft.

I want one! WE could go with what Cpt. Bren and Sten said and make an artillery unit! There aren't any of those for airsoft to my knowledge, what do you think Misift13?

Very nice! How does it traverse and elevate? Would you mind giving us some close ups of how the breech functions?

That is awesome that you want one... I take that as a compliment! Other than that I would say lets give this one a shot and see how it handles at the game in Oct and go from there. Very nice! How does it traverse and elevate? Would you mind giving us some close ups of how the breech functions? Thanks Rekkon!!! As far as traversing it would do that by moving/rolling the gun itself left or right. From when I tested it you don't have to move it much to get it to go where you want. For elevation in the back under the barrel mount there is a scissor jack mounted to the frame and attaches to the barrel mount. I just reach down with my fingers and adjust it for a change in elevation. Unfortunately there is no rear breech (which is why you don't see one in the photo ) and must be loaded from the front. I thought about putting one in the rear but during testing I found that the rockets have a hard time traveling through such a long barrel (over 9ft). Being that I wanted to keep this thing to the same scale as the original, I accepted that sacrifice.

Can you please post the plans or instructions on how to build one of these? I have an idea of making an SIG 33 using this as a base. Imagine launching football sized foam rockets at the enemy!

Maybe someday down the road but not for a while man. It would take me a long time to do that and I have other things I am doing now. Also, I did not have any "plans" for this. I just did a lot of research on my own, thought of how I could put it together and went from there. I am sure that if you put your mind to it you can do that same!

Very nice job. It can also serve all kinds of purposes in a game other than being an AT gun. Looks like it provides great cover and could serve as a good objective. I like the paint scheme and love the way the shovel was mounted.

I like the paint scheme and love the way the shovel was mounted. Thanks a ton Ersatzjack! ;D I agree that can serve multiple purposes and that is what I also had in mind as I was building it. Also, you are right that it really does provide great cover! Thanks for the compliment on the paint scheme and shovel. I tried to go with a late war paint scheme. I started out painting the whole thing primer grey, then tried to find the best matches I could for Olivgrün, Rotbraun and Dunkelgelb nach Muster. When the paint scheme was applied I made sure to leave little bits/small stripes of the grey undercoat to come through on it here and there which is something I had seen on original paint schemes. As for the shovel, well I had to have that on there right! ;D It is a post war east german shovel and the front mount onthe pak 38 where it fits in has a leather strap just like the original did. That section of the pak that the shovel is attached to will actually come back and fasten to the top half for transportation like the original did as well.
