Track down a guy in the UK called 'Tanaka' on forums, real name Ryan. He runs a very good IJA group in the UK and knows his stuff.

That info in that is helping me alot in my IJA load out. As I'm the IJA commander at a Guadacanal event Next july so atleast I got some time to prepare.
A question I do have though.
Any info on where to find ww2 Japanese airsoft guns......that don't cost 900$ and are currently out of stock. I am aware of the type 89 mortar and the nambu but I would like to have something authentic. The last thing I want to do is use an Axis, Russian or Allied weapon.
Thanks

Tanaka makes the only good ones (Type 38 & Type 99 rifle), but they are pricy and hard to get. You can do an officer impression with a rubber sword though

i have plans to experiment with making a spring arisaka 99. however if you are an officer the ONLY weapon you will have is a side arm. japanese doctren employs officers as just that. you are to be a gleaming example of waht your men aspire to be. and if tehy cant, you dish out corporal punishment. if you have some money and would like to fund my arisaka project shoot me a PM. i could prolly gt it done in a month or so.

cairo, I sure could use you out here in Cali!!!! We have a good group of 'Raiders and Para's...but no one to shoot!!! LOL I'm itching to do a re-enactment of "Battle of Bloody Ridge". We'd all need Springfields though.....
