Just tossing some ideas around. Is there any interest in a game in mid-November, in the Sierra Foothills, east of Sacramento. I'm thinking probably off Hwy 50.
I was toying with a scenario based on a what-if: the Tenth Mountain, supported by paratroops, goes into Norway to attack the German heavy water plant (needed for their atomic bomb program). Opposed by German Gebirgsjaegers.

November 5 would work for me. How many more are interested? I might go up later this week and scout locations.

Will this event have any registration forms? What time do plan on starting it? Will it be camp over? Ive got lots of questions but am very interested in taking some of the socal boys up for a game, we've been outta the loop since last jump to destiny a couple years back. Btw, any of you guys know tobin from sacremento? We still have some of his applesauce from jtd but lost touch with him.. anyways cheers!! -Eddie

We'll be on national forest land, so camping is an option. I haven't put much effort into planning because so far it doesn't seem like there's much interest. Probably run 10-4 or so.

I figure we need at least 10 vs 10 to have a viable game.

I have a commitment on Nov. 6, so I'm going to have to hit the road for home about 5ish.
Camping Friday night seems like a plan. Of course, anyone who wanted to make a weekend of it, that works too.

Would it be possible to move this back to the following weekend, Nov. 12? That would actually work better for me.

That would actually work better for me. 3 of the 4 guys we have will be on tour from november 11th thru the 20th, if you guys are having the game on the 12th you'll have to count us out, otherwise im sure we can make the trip.. -YB

i might be able to finagle my way to attending, but I'd need a pickup from an airport nearby. and impression-wise I can go either kraut or US.
