I would start with a standard impression, as a private. The impressions are just as easily obtained.
Most of the time, even when playing as an officer, I never display rank. Since I have not yet earned certain ranks in real life, I will not use them on the field in complete respect for those who actually have.

I dont like to buy stuff from china and the tunic is off. what do you want to do waffen ss, heer or fj? I like to buy from here www.atthefrontshop.com/default.asp the quality is the best but it is a bit more pricey.

Some tunics come with inisignia others don't. It will state that on the place you buy it from.
First off all realize the only tunics that are not made in China are At the Fronts new run tunics. Every other company I know of is made in China or Hong Kong or something like that.
Here is the my recommendation for uniforms starting with the best option first. 1: At the Front (Texled) 2: Hessen Antique (Sturm) 3: Gavin Militaria
Hessen Antique sells two types of uniform. One is their standard stuff which is made by Ant-z Militaria the other is their old stuff which is Sturm. The Sturm stuff is superior and cheaper. Unfortunately they don't sell the trousers so I'd just buy those from Gavin. At the Front Texled uniforms are the absolute best but they are also very pricey.

No, I would say just spend the extra money and get a good reproduction from a WW2 website not an airsoft website. Places to find a good helmet are Hessen Antique, At the Front, or International Military Antiques.

If you fancy a set of pea dot then the Gavin Militaria set is excellent value for money. Not as spot on as ATF but still very good.
