Awesome I can't wait! let's hope the M1 aren't more than $300 but the M3 is $200 ;D maybe now 9 out 10 reenacters won't have a thompson A bit too late for me though, I already have a custom M1 garand and a m1887 trench gun =/ still can't wait to see how they are though, especially the M1 that we all waited so long for they can be used for Nam events as well. yeah I do that for nam games. For the south vietnamese it would work good

This M1 Garand is probably the best news for WW2 Airsoft in years. Though a good K98 would probably almost top that..... almost ;D. Lets hope it doesn't exceed $300...... that sounded really cheap of me lol.

Stop hating on the Thompson, it's not its fault that there's a lack of variety. And Mine's eff'ing sexy.

It just gets boring after a while. Its like the standard US weapon for WW2 Airsoft. Almost everyone has one. That's why I ended up customizing mine ;D. It should be Thompsons are the special weapon and the M1 Garand is the normal drag lol.

I mean I understand why people don't have them, they aren't readily available. Anyhow maybe the ICS Garand will change things!

It should be Thompsons are the special weapon and the M1 Garand is the normal drag lol. Thats exactly how it is lol. Every 4 out of 5 has one and I was going to buy one too but the M1 is my favorite rifle so I ended up paying the extra money to get one, even though the ebay seller had lauched a nuke or two at it I fixed it up best I could lol ;D The biggest part though is them not being readily available, so with Ares and ICS making M1 Garands I think well be seeing alot of newer players with them some older players might start using them instead of their Thompsons

Yeah but people getting dont understand that thompsons aren't used that much, and it's the cheapest, so they go for that, look at the agm mp40. Mostly all Germans use that.

Most Germans use the Stg-44 which is far worse than the MP40

Yep its the easiest to get ahold of and the cheapest. Their is no M1 Garand available and no Kar98 available. So yes of course not many people have them as the only choice is to make a custom one. Yes Tanaka made a K98 but its not made anymore and costs like $600 anyhow. If ICS does a Garand for $300 I think we'll see many more on the field, not as many as the Thompsons but it will be better and they will be available at least.
