I'm considering putting down some money on one of these but I've herd a lot of mixed opinions on them. Stuff like how the blowback completely drains the battery and it tends to misfeed and jam a lot. So, before I throw a couple Benjamins down on the table for it, anybody who owns or has owned one please comment, thank you

I bought one a while back I gave it to my bro who's starting a Russian kit. I use a 9.6v. It doesn't really drain the battery that much, it goes pretty good with a few batteries. Onto the shooting. It's pretty accurate maybe up to my shed which is I want to say 150 ft. At from my deck where I shoot, it swerves off after that for me ( maybe it's my hop.) from after 200 to 300 shots from my 560 stick mag, it stops and then proceeds firing the 5 to 10 bbs that jammed, and it slows down, then after my first few thousand shots through it, it yes, started to jam and stop over all, but it turned out it was a cheap ol little half of my dam king arms bb's enlodged in the beginning of the barrel, after that it shot like a beauty. It's outstandingly built, and much more easier than the blues finish on the HP. But personally I like the HP better but, hey, the st is a great copy of the ares. To be honest, it's good for the price. -Friedman

I'm sorry I didn't know this thread was already in existence. Might get shut down by a mod or moved but thats all good. Thanks for review, glad to hear it's not just another crappy clone. Appreciate the comments, very helpful Do you recommend using the drum mag or sticks? Is there any feeding issues with the drum? and are there any upgrades I should think about right out of the box or are the internals pretty strong as is, particularly the piston and cylinders because EBB's have been known to do a number on the piston heads and cylinders.

i've only used it once in a game. Worked great. I dissable the blowback during the game, to readuce wear and tear and battery drain. Honestly mine shoots like a champ, hard and true to about 150 feet. It feels solid as hell, but I guess only time will tell. I hate to admit it, but I really like this gun.

Since there is a huge lack of ww2 op's in my area I actually use my ST ppsh as my primary OP4 gun. I have used it in 5 ops since I got the gun and I have nothing but great things to say about it. www.maasf.org/forum/showthread.php?16796-ST-PPSH-Review That is a review I did of my gun on a local forum. My favorite thing about the gun is it can be used as a chair. Also I am aware that the following video is not WW2 (its operation geronimo) but I did mount a contour cam on my ppsh, so you can see its combat effectiveness. www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-PYyoedTpoThis is a great gun and I highly suggest it to any one. Also the blow back barely does anything to the battery. An 8.4 1600 mah can last 1800-2200 shots before needing to be replaced.
