Hey guys, I was inspired by the $20 Mosin-Nagant so I decided to do my own build. Here is a CYMA P.799 hopper fed shotgun converted to an M1A1. I am pleased with the results and plan on making a second one. The stock/furniture is 4 separate pieces blended to look like one. The sides and bottom are balsa wood while the pistol grip is plywood. The stock started as a ~$3 long piece of steel wire and was bent into place. Sights are a combination of sheet aluminum, hardwood, and a LPEG M4 rear sight aperture. More details will come in ~2 weeks once I post the build details to my website. Ask questions and I will do my best, I have ALOT of pics of the steps. The website currently has detail pics of the build, check em out ww2airsoftflorida.webs.com Attachments:

I love quick, cheap, and innovative projects like this. Always fun to do and yield decent results. Good stuff for the kids to see and get into the sport.

It is not VERY strong, that was the prototype just to prove it worked, the next one will have more structure
