Not exactly the same, but they have the same basic concept. Zeta Labs made some small improvements like better materials and mainstream springs (I think)

It looks quite nice though doesn't it? I agree if ICS or Zeta labs come out with one at a reasonably affordable price it would be a winner. I wonder how their Mosin Nagant is doing? Hopefully well as that is the main thing that will drive further offerings.

it would be far cheaper to buy a real one and cut it up then buying this. i can't possibly conceive how KTWs products are so expensive.

Agreed, I could buy 5 real ones for that price. Why oh why is it so hard to get a British gun?
The sten is nice but having an entire section using them is just silly.

The actual RS Enfields are so inexpensive but obviously the time requirements modifying them into a good functioning airsoft rifle is considerable and the size of the market demand is so low that there is little economy of scale to ramp up tooling to keep the costs down.
I did up a bunch (Six) somewhat Cheezy Enfields for very little internal cost but the time even on them was more than it made sense to sell them for. (Fun project though and I would highly recommend it) Typically the folks who have the resources and skills to make their own, don't have the time. The folks who have the time don't have the skills or the money!
I tend to make a bunch of whatever project I take on as the learning curb is taken advantage of and there is cost reductions when making several items.

As much as I'd love a cloned Lee-Enfield, honestly, I'd personally prefer if someone cloned that Type-96 pictured in the top menu bar, or if someone cloned their springer Arisaka, or flintlock weapons. Specifically this dude. ktw-co.gonna.jp/99siki_keiki.htmlI'd LOVE to have one of these. I'd even love it in spite of its stats being terrible. But I can't spend $3,000+ on it, even if it actually had good stats.

Looks like Iron Airsoft in Japan are thinking of bringing out a gas SMLE as well
