I'm having great difficulties deciding which impression would be best for me, so I'm leaving it up to you. Please post pictures of interesting soldiers from the war so I can base my impression from them. Thanks

If any of you have ideas like what type of camouflage, if any, should be worn for WAFFEN-SS impressions relating to Germany '45 or ideas for any other impression please post below.

I think I have an idea guys... I've just been looking at this awesome, and I really mean awesome, color photograph of a Waffen-SS squad in Chambios '44 decked out in Italian camouflage. I'll have to post the pic somehow. Anyways, only two are wearing the coverall uniform, one in the background is wearing a custom made field tunic- AND HE'S NOT AN NCO!!! I'm in love with Italian camouflage, I'm just going to get the following for my uniform: Italian Camo tunic from Hessen M43 Wool Trousers, Hessen M40 Helmet, IMA-USA Blurred Edge Helmet Cover, Spearhead Waffen-SS Combat belt Canteen Bread bag Black Boots Grey Service shirt M43 Wool tunic-Waffen SS model, Hessen
And then a gun of course.

How about regular German Heer,1939-43? NO camo. Its more common, and WAY underrepresented in the hobby.

I completely agree! Regular Heer gets my vote. Its classic and the most useable at any event.

"we had no special insignia, just the white color of the infintry, but oberfeldwebel Winter told us many times,"fight well, fight smart & survive". This was very true and you all know those "fire Eaters" with their special patches lost a lot of men, they did make better looking corpses then those of us with the plain uniforms."
the plain gray uniform is best unform. we need less camo, and more spirit. you will find many more compliments while wearing a nice field gray tunic VS a field made Mint HBT tunic.
and by french, i was suggesting 1940 french infintry man. we have no french in our relm, and i think it would be awsome.all you need to do is make Gryphon style MAS rifles and your set.

Going with Italian camo limits your options of units to represent. The 1st SS took massive amounts of italian camo from the disarmed italian military in '43. They then gave most of it to 12th SS Hitlerjugend. This is the unit formed by Hitler youth, so it also means if you are in your mid-20s or older, you really wouldnt have been in it.
